Our friend David Lesley Paint Your Space finally gave us an insider look at his seven-year old son Logan room. If you followed Nursery project in the past, you know that we totally swoon on horizontal stripes. So of course, we liked that Lesley did with the walls of Logan. Stripes enabled him to Logan's room feel preppy and put together, but got this unexpected blow, she longs for the design of a room. Lesley gives us all the details of Logan's room, including large paint colors and DIY projects!
What was your inspiration for the room?
Something simple that could roll with changing themes. I wanted a neutral background which was odd, but the timeless and horizontal stripes seemed to do the trick!
What best describes your decorating style?
I think eclectic, but with mixed traditional songs. I like the unexpected!
Please with your choice of paint colors, furniture, art, craft tips, etc. .
Benjamin Moore HC-35 Powell Buff and Lancaster were the white paint colors. Pottery Barn for the locker which is a discounted room I got to the exit. Furniture was made by my husband and the dresser was updated with beadboarding on the face paint and new hardware. Bedding was purchaed the Michigan Design Center to a sales sample
What is your favorite item (s) in the room?
I do not know if it is an element, but the stripes painted on the wall is the best.
