What was your inspiration for the room
Eden personality Jo was my inspiration. She's so funny and original. She loves the color and patterns. She is very artistic for a 3yr old so I need his room to be fun and whimsical.
What best describes your decorating style?
I'm attracted to the bohemian chic with vintage and modern twists.
Please share with us your choice of paint colors, furniture, art, craft tips, etc.
The walls are a neutral gray and wanted to enlighten them with the art that I had my father paint a quote on the main wall that I found out a greeting card . I thought the quote really fits his personality. I bought the cabinet at the pier a year ago and decided to paint the doors of a jet black to give it some contrast. Her bedding is a mixture of Ikea pillows and handmade. I bought the Venetian mirror off of Ebay for about $ 0.
Most of the art in his room Etsy except a print Urban Outfitters and a mom did when she was bored impression.
What is your favorite item (s) in the r oom?
I bought the head at a garage sale for $ 15 and it became my favorite piece in the room. I also like his giant horse that was a gift from a favorite babysitter.
Is there anything else you want to PN readers to know?
The fun thing about the room of a child you can not really mess up. Most textiles and textures better! The more art and antique toys, the best. Be creative and let your children help you and knows what you'll come up with.
